FORUM: OBSTACLES IN THE LABYRINTH – HOW DO PARENTS OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES DEAL WITH THE SYSTEM?

inFusion Forums represent an essential segment of inFusion – 4th Festival of Inclusion, serving as an inclusive platform for constructive dialogue, critical thinking, and social recommendations. The forums will bring together parents, youth, persons with disabilities, activists, professionals, and institutional representatives in a joint mission for open discussion on the challenges and opportunities to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities.

Over three consecutive days, from June 12 to 15, thematic forum sessions will be held.

FORUM: Obstacles in the Maze – How Do Parents of Persons with Disabilities Navigate the System?

Parents of people with disabilities are on a 24/7 mission to overcome architectural, psychological, and bureaucratic barriers — at home, on the street, and in institutions.

How do they overcome them and what solutions do they find on their own to solve problems that should otherwise be handled by institutions or the system?
